At the Pilates and Yoga Center of Ladue, each session is instructed specifically for the person or group assembled, with thoughtful modifications for individual needs. All sessions and classes are 55 minutes. We recommend 2-3 sessions per week for optimal results for all fitness levels.
Private Pilates Instruction: The most effective way to focus on your unique needs, injuries or chronic concerns. Private lessons are necessary for an initial evaluation and base to learn the fundamentals of the Pilates method as well as a continual enhancement to your wellness routine. Call or stop by the center for an appointment.
Duet/Trio/Quartet Pilates Instruction: Bring a friend or two and experience Pilates at reduced rates plus more fun! This is ideal for two or more people who want to work out together with one trainer. Call or stop by the center for an appointment.
Group Reformer Classes: Joseph Pilates created the Pilates equipment to act as additional muscles to aid the body on its path to health. The Reformer accesses weak or underused areas of your body to build alignment, muscular balance and aerobic movement. Limited to six participants.
Group Tower Classes: This group class incorporates the use of the Wall Unit (Tower) along with mat work. By utilizing the Wall Unit you stretch your muscles while strengthening your core. Limited to five participants.
Pilates Mat Classes: The essence of all Pilates work, a series of challenging floor exercises designed to create uniform development, long, lean muscles, core strength, and breath control. By using your own body as resistance it is an amazing way to connect with and strengthen your core. Check the schedule for available times.
Yoga: Yoga is a spiritual practice that uses the body, breath, and mind to energize and balance the whole being. The benefits of practicing yoga include: body strength and stamina, greater flexibility, rehabilitating and healing injuries, stress reduction and relaxation, mental and emotional release. Call or stop by the center for a private/duet appointment. You can form your own group classes.
